Well, my first thought is... it's a requirement.
I don't want people making a bunch of different logins for each character they play.
However, if for some reason a compelling argument is made to the contrary I will, of course, consider changing this policy.
For now, let me try and explain my reasoning.
1. It gives the "player" a login. This allows people to see the quality of roleplay from a player regardless of the character. It gives the player an identity (even if it's an anonymous one) outside of their characters.
2. In the unlikely, but unfortunate, event that someone were to try and sabotage another person's world.. having only one login will allow us to take action against that player, not just a throwaway character login they create.
This is probably different from what most people have experienced on forum roleplays, usually you create a new login name for each character.
At first it might even be annoying, I mean no matter what character I play in what world my posting name will be "tony one".
There's an easy way to solve this....
Start every post with a "signature" on top instead of on bottom.
That just means that you use your character's name to start the post.
Like such.

"There you are! You are the broom that called my sister fat!"

I think once everyone gets used to it we'll all agree that this is a good way of doing things.
If not, we can revisit this topic in the future.
