This Roleplaying world is set in a fantasy medieval realm.
It takes place inside of an Inn, all posts should reflect that particular setting.
You may post references to things that happened outside of the Inn.
"Barkeep, give me an ale! I just spent the whole day fighting a dragon hatchling and I need it!"
I will allow players to play the following "races" (and consider adding more if a compelling argument is made)
1. Human
2. Elf
3. Half-elf (due to the rarity of this race in this world, approval will be based reason for wishing to play a half-elf)
Players should expect to be considered "citizens" of the area and not godly warriors or wizards.
This RP is a social RP not a statistical RP.
Players should expect to lean more towards "normal" in abilities than your average DnD character.
Example: You want to be a wizard. You will not be able to shoot lightning out of your finger tips, but you will be able to light candles. You will not be able to turn invisible at will, but you will be able make a small object disappear using magic.
Players should expect to resolve conflict using in character text only.
An example of this would be two characters getting into a bar fight. In Char1's post he/she would suggest the ways in which he will attack.
In Char2's post he/she will explain how successfully he/she defends and suggest how he/she will attack.
It is usually a good idea for one or both players to decide what would be best for the story and to try and resolve the conflict in that way.
If the conflict isn't resolved in a timely and "good" manner then the admin will resolve it using in game methods.
The Inn has a group of "special" guards. They exist specifically as a plot tool to move conflict along. For OOC purposes, the guards are "god mode" characters.
This is a "write your own world" exercise. I control the canon of the Inn, but (to a certain degree) everything outside the world is up to the players to decide in their own canon.
The Inn is on a long winding road "close to nowhere in particular"
